Food, Inventory & Safety

Clients are responsible for the full cost of ordered inventory, whether or not it is consumed. Unopened pre-packed items may be kept by the client. Open containers, scooped items, and prepared drinks cannot leave the site under health regulations and are forfeited.

B&B is not responsible for food allergies where product ingredient information is displayed or provided. Some nut-free items are made in facilities that also process nuts.

Frequently Asked Questions
When do I pay the deposit?
After we approve your request, you’ll get an email with your invoice and an online payment link. Paying the 25% deposit locks in your date.
When is the rest due, and how do I pay?
The balance is due when the event wraps up, unless you’ve arranged something else with us ahead of time. Pay online through the link we email you, or pay in person at the event.
Can I get my deposit back if I cancel?
Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice. Cancelling with less than 24 hours’ notice also adds a $150 fee. If we can’t serve your event because of extreme weather or a mechanical breakdown, we refund your deposit.
Is there a discount for paying by cash or check?
Yes. All listed prices are our standard card payment rate. Final invoices paid by cash or check get a 3.5% discount. Mailed checks must arrive within 10 business days of the invoice date.
Can we add more ice cream during the event?
Yes. You don’t need to choose add-ons in advance. If you’re running low, the requester or onsite contact can approve more on the spot at +$0.52 per unit, and it’s added to your final invoice.
Do you serve lemonade and desserts?
Yes. Iced lemonade can be added to any package: 12oz for $4.14, 16oz for $5.18, or 20oz for $6.21, with a 50-drink minimum per event and at least 4 flavors to choose from. The Signature Full Menu includes the 12oz iced lemonade: each unit is one ice cream or one lemonade, so a guest who has both uses 2 units. A larger size can be requested by email at an additional cost. For desserts, email info@bbicecreamtruck.com to see what’s available.
What if we need more than the listed capacity?
We can add equipment such as a second truck, more carts or a bicycle. Email info@bbicecreamtruck.com and we’ll send a custom quote.
What areas do you serve?
King, Pierce and Snohomish Counties, including Seattle, Bellevue, Tacoma and Everett. Travel is free within 15 miles of our Seattle depot, then $0.135 per mile. See the Service Areas page for cities.
Which setups work indoors?
The pop-up tent and push carts work indoors and outdoors. The ice cream truck serves outdoors.
What happens to leftover ice cream?
Unopened pre-packed items are yours to keep. Open containers, scooped items and prepared drinks have to stay with us under health rules.
Where can I find the ingredients?
Every ice cream is individually labeled with its ingredients. Each person should always check the label before eating any product, especially if they have a food allergy. Ask our server if you’d like help finding an item’s label.
Do you have dairy-free, gluten-free or nut-free options?
Yes. Choose them when you request a quote. Some nut-free items are made in facilities that also handle nuts, so ingredient information is available at every event.
Can I buy ice cream without booking a truck?
Yes. Wholesale ice cream is available with or without a push cart rental and delivered frozen at a scheduled time. You’re responsible for keeping it frozen after drop-off.
What if it rains?
We serve in most Seattle weather. If extreme weather makes service unsafe, we’ll work with you to reschedule or refund the deposit.
